GYXTW is an outdoor use optical fiber cable suitable for duct and aerial applications.
Applications
GYXTW – OM4 Multimode Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable are central loose tube optical fiber ribbon cables that are suitable for installation in aerial or duct environment for communication between bureaus, metropolitan network, access network and is especially suitable for the situation where high-density fibers is expected. The loose tube is covered with a water blocking compound and a steel tape. The outer sheath is made of high quality black polyethylene(PE).
Features
Up to 24 fiber cores.
The loose tube is centrally situated with good excess length and minimizes the influence of lateral crush.
Double wire as strength member provides excellent strain performance.
Basic structure of C-CORP GYXTW – OM4 Multimode Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable
1. Strength member: This are two parallel high-strength steel wire, providing mechanical support and preventing the fiber optic cable from stretching under tension.
2. Loose tubes: The loose tube are placed around the central strength member, each containing one or more optical fiber. These tubes help to protect the optical fiber from moisture, physical damage, and other environmental factors.
3. Optical fiber: The core component of the fiber optic cable, optical fiber transmit data in the form of light signals.
4. Filling compound: A gel-like substance fills the space between the loose tubes and the central strength member, helping to cushion the optical fiber against physical stress and protect them from moisture and water penetration.
5. Steel tape: Two layers of steel tape are wrapped around the fiber optic cable, providing additional mechanical protection against crushing, impact, and other external forces.
6. Outer sheath: The entire fiber optic cable is covered with a polyethylene (PE) outer sheath, which offers resistance against abrasion, weathering, and other environmental factors
